EMS is provided by the Fire Department utilizing two (2) BLS ambulances. These EMT-D staffed units respond to over 2500 annual calls. One unit is stationed at Headquarters and staffed 24 hours a day by one (1) of the three (3) civilian EMT's that are employed by the Fire Department and one (1) DUAL ROLE Firefighter/EMT-D. One (1) civilian EMT's is assigned to each of the three (3) platoons and are under the supervision of the Engine One Captain.

The other unit housed at Station Two is staffed by two (2), DUAL ROLE Firefighter/EMT's. This unit is under the direct supervision of the on duty station Captain 24 hours a day
