The Headquarters of the Ocean City Fire Department is located at 550 Asbury Avenue, just at the northern edge of the city's downtown. This four bay drive through building was completed in 1983 and serves as the Main Station for the department. With offices for the Chief of Department, Suppression Officers and Training, the building also houses the offices of Code Enforcement.

Housed in Headquarters are the On Duty Deputy Chief (1), Engine One (3), Truck One (3) and Ambulance One (2). Also the departments HeavyRescue, Utility vehicles and reserve apparatus Engine Twenty One are housed in the main station.

Headquarters is located on the northern end of the barrier island that is Ocean City. This 9 mile island in southern New Jersey with the Atlantic Ocean on one side and Great Egg Harbor Bay on the other is known as "AMERICA's GREATEST FAMILY RESORT"® and for good reason. The wide white sand beaches and boardwalk along with many water sports make Ocean City fun for all.
