STATION         TWO

Station Two is located at 29th Street and West Avenue which is 2.4 miles south of Headquarters. Built in 1954 this two bay station was the first remote station built on the south end of the island. It houses Engine Two(2), Ambulance Two(2) and Ambulance Four (reserve). Ambulance Two responds with Engine Two as an attached unit and becomes the FAST Team at working Fires.

This Engine company's primary response district is from 18th to 36th street. It responds on all structure fires on the island. In the primary response area is the Municipal Airport, a paved airfield with 100+ landings a day during the summer, the Intermediate School with 600+ students and The Shores an  extended care facility with residential and nursing care.
